Self-catering accommodation

Torloisk House is self-catering, so please remember to bring food and supplies for the duration of your stay. While there is a Co-op in Tobermory, we recommend stocking up on essentials while still on the mainland, as certain items may be harder to find once you’re on the island.

Private Beach

Just a short ten-minute walk or drive beyond the grounds, you’ll find a beautifully secluded grey-sand beach tucked below the house. It’s perfect for a quiet swim or simply soaking up the view, and more often than not, you’ll have it all to yourselves.

Feel free to bring your own beach gear like swimsuits, chairs, umbrellas, picnic blankets, or even a portable BBQ for a relaxed day by the sea.

Wedding Venue

Croft 3

Croft 3 is a cosy, family-run restaurant and working croft on the Isle of Mull, offering simple, seasonal food in a beautifully restored farmhouse.

Owners Jeanette and Jack have lovingly brought this old building back to life, reusing its original stone and preserving its character. The result is a warm and welcoming space that feels both timeless and personal.

Set on 50 acres of peaceful countryside, Croft 3 boasts stunning south-facing views over the water, perfect for a relaxed, intimate celebration. The land is at the heart of everything they do. With a growing garden, friendly animals, and a commitment to becoming self-sufficient, the croft offers a unique glimpse into island life and local living.

Whether you’re drawn to the rustic charm or the heartfelt hospitality, Croft 3 is a place where love and good food come together naturally.

Café Fish

Café Fish is a renowned seafood restaurant perched on the upper floor of the CalMac Pier in Tobermory, offering panoramic views over Tobermory Bay to Calve Island and the Sound of Mull.

Owned by cousins Jane Gill and chef Liz McGougan, the restaurant prides itself on serving exceptionally fresh seafood, much of which is sourced from their own fishing boat, The Highlander, and local fishermen. The menu features daily specials based on the catch of the day, including dishes like crispy whole sea bream with citrus salsa and a classic fish stew in spiced Tuscan broth.

Please note that Café Fish is a cash-only establishment, so ensure you have cash on hand. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for dinner service.
